The short version: your party plan is stored in your own browser, not on our servers. We don't require an account, and we don't sell your data.
1. Information we collect
July4Planner.com is designed to work without collecting personal information. Specifically:
- Your plan data (guest count, budget, checklists, guest names you enter) is saved locally in your browser using localStorage. It never leaves your device and we can't see it.
- Contact messages. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, so we can reply.
- Basic analytics. We may collect anonymous, aggregate usage data (such as page views) to understand what's useful. This does not identify you personally.
2. Cookies & local storage
We use browser localStorage to remember your plan between visits. This is not a tracking cookie — it stays on your device and is used only to restore your work. You can clear it any time from your browser settings or with the planner's "Reset everything" button.
3. How we use information
We use the limited information above only to operate and improve the site and to respond to your messages. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
4. Third-party services
The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may process your IP address as part of serving those files. Any analytics we use are configured to be privacy-respecting and anonymized.
5. Children's privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your choices
Because your plan lives in your browser, you're always in control: clear your browser data to remove it entirely. To request deletion of any email correspondence, just contact us.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
